The SEP sesam Database Online Module for SAP R/3 running on MaxDB/SAP
DB and Oracle assures interruption free backup operation of the respective
database directly to the Backup Media/Device, without an intermediate
backup to the file system. The Online Module integrates with the database
interface allowing all Backup, Restore und Recovery available to execute
without hindrance. Control and planning for database backup is possible
using SEP sesam, by using the SAP R/3 environment tools or it can be set
through database priorities in the Data Backup Server.
