Troubleshooting Novell Cluster Backup
This document covers clustered nss volumes and clustered groupwise on
Linux:
- slptool findsrvs smdr.novell
- Make sure you get the same results on all cluster members
- Make sure there are no 127.x.x.x entries
- Make sure all desired resources are registered on the same port (NSS Volumes, GroupWise)
- Make sure the backup server (datamover) is included
- Make sure the ports are all the same
- host CLUSTER_RESOURCE_HOSTNAME (from slp output)
- The resulting ip has to match the slptool registration ip
- Check all resources
- /opt/novell/sms/bin/smsconfig -t
- Check that tsafs is loaded in the following mode:
- tsafs --EnableGW --cluster
