Debian Archive
The packages can be used for Ubuntu 8/04 (etch) and 8/10 (lenny).
APT installation
To install Sesam by APT you should add the following line to your /etc/apt/sources.list file:
deb http://download.sep.de/linux/debian etch non-freedeb http://download.sep.de/linux/debian lenny non-free
Installation or update is started by:
apt-get updateapt-get install sesam-srv- RedHat/SuSE Packages can be installed with rpm -Uvh sesam-package-version.rpm
- The tar version can be installed by extracting the file and running ./sm_setup
Client Configuration:
- root@client:~# /opt/sesam/bin/sesam/sm_setup set_client sesam_server_hostname
