Sesam automatically verifies data while it's being backed up.

Using backup data verification

• Simple Verification
  1. Add a restore task to a schedule
  2. edit the restore option of the backup task and add "-l" for list mode
• Advanced Verification
  •  
    1. Add a restore task to a schedule

If you haven't done so already setup the email notification so if the task can't restore properly you recieve a second email about the error
