Disaster Recovery - QuickStart

If the sesam server is lost and we don't have a copy of the sesam database:
Insert the tape which holds the most recent version of the sesam_backup task.

1. After the tape is inserted source the sesam profile:

   
   source /var/opt/sesam/var/ini/sesam2000.profile
2. Scan the tape to look for savesets with:
   
   sm_sms_interface dir -d /dev/nst0
3. Selectively restore the saveset with:
